BCS uses community-based research approaches to understand community needs, document lived experiences, and develop evidence-informed solutions. Our research and evaluation initiatives amplify community voices and inform programs, policies, and practices.

BCS actively collaborates with universities, colleges, and research agencies to conduct research on critical issues such as poverty, inequalities, environmental challenges, climate change, and food insecurity. This collaboration enhances the depth and impact of their research initiatives.

Experiential Learning Partnership: 

BCS also promotes experiential learning by supporting students from colleges and universities. Through partnerships with institutions like Toronto Metropolitan University, York University, McGill University, McMaster University, Centennial College, George Brown College, and Seneca College, BCS provides students with practical experiences that complement their academic studies.
